It looks like the days of misery for Skoda Kushaq owners are not over as a new error pops up.
A new error has been reported by a Skoda Kushaq owner. Kushaq is a mid-size SUV that rivals Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in our market. It was meant to boost the Czech automaker’s slumping sales in India. And he managed to do it, and Skoda experienced unprecedented sales after the arrival of the Kushaq and Slavia sedan. However, the elation was short-lived as all the success was overshadowed by the EPC error for months. Now another error has been reported by an owner.

This post was shared by Kushaq owner Anuj Kaushik on the Owners Center page on Facebook. He mentions that the SUV broke down in the middle of the trip in the city. This is the 1.5 liter automatic variant. The error reads: “Trans. Can cont. drive in D only until eng. at stop.” It’s quite weird and he immediately took the car to the service center. But to everyone’s surprise, the service center workers are unaware of this error. The owner informs that his SUV has been in the workshop for 24 hours and no one knows how to solve it.

This is something Skoda needs to work on. It can happen that there are problems with the electronics or the components. However, the service center personnel must be competent enough to fix it. This is what other Kushaq owners also mentioned in the comment to this article. Despite replacing the fuel pump, many owners still receive the EPC error. It is therefore the unavailability of a reliable and appropriate solution that must be remedied.
